Fantastic accommodation in Hermigua
Originally built in the 18th century, the fantastic accommodation "Casa rural Los Aromos” in Hermigua is a truly picturesque country house. Really fantastic accommodation in the holiday resort Hermigua on La Gomera. Set in a magnificent garden among the banana plantations, this spacious Casa Rural has been lovingly restored, whilst at the same time preserving many historic details, such as the typically Canarian wooden floors, doors, windows and ceilings. These provide a warm contrast to the beautiful whitewashed walls, decorated with original natural stones inlaid.
This immaculate and welcoming house is a great place to stay for any number of guests - cosy enough for two people but big enough to accommodate a larger group, whilst still allowing each of the guests to find his/her own ‘space’.
The original, antique front door leads directly into a spacious hallway from which you can access a beautifully decorated lounge/dining area, an additional TV room, the kitchen and a bathroom. The house is built on two storeys –head upstairs from the gallery where you will find four bedrooms tucked away (two of which have an adjoining door) and a second bathroom. Go via the gallery to reach the attractively landscaped garden and patio. The house is furnished in traditional Canarian style with two sofas in the lounge/dining area and two single beds and a wardrobe in each of the bedrooms.
The extensive terrace, attractively furnished with plenty of comfortable seating, has fantastic views across the sea to the Pico del Teide and is a great place to enjoy some peaceful holiday relaxation – bliss!
Note:
The fee for the final cleaning is at least 75,00 €, maximum 105,00 € (depending on the number of persons and the number of bedrooms) and will be confirmed to you after booking.

Wir haben uns in "Los Aromos" mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt! Es gibt viel Platz im schönen alten Haus, wir haben den Außengrill auf der hinteren Terasse und den Tisch zum Frühstücken auf der vorderen Terasse sehr genossen! Die Kindern liebten die Katzen und wir haben uns die Bananen von der kleinen Plantage direkt vor dem Haus schmecken lassen. Der Ausblick und die Lage waren für uns sehr schön und wir würden "Los Aromos" auch sehr gern weiterempfehlen...
Los Aromos benefits from a stunning view on the mountains and is located in a quiet environment. The house is pretty small and has in reality 3 bedrooms (+a TV room with couch/bed). We were 3 people and, although we paid full price, only 2 rooms were accessible (the 3d one was locked until we asked to open it). The house is cold in the evening at winter time and amenities are pretty limited. The beds are comfortable and the 2 terrace offer extra space/confort. At the end, we had a wonderful time in Hermigua.
Casa los Aromos is a fantastic place with it´s rustic and old atmosfhere and it´s beautiful terraces. In the terace att the back of the house we all could start the days with yoga. Everything was clean and beautiful. We loved to walk in the fantastic nature and surroundings.
Das im Landhausstil eingerichtete Haus ist sehr gur ausgestattet und gepflegt. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße wenige Autominuten entfernt von verschiedenen Restaurants (aus unserer Sicht besonders empfehlenswert das Tasca Telemaco), kleinen Supermärkten und Bäckereien. Uns hat es Spaß gemacht zu entscheiden, auf welcher der beiden Terrassen wir die schöne Umgebung genießen wollten. Hermigua selbst bietet sich als Ausgangspunkt für ausgedehnte Wanderungen im grünen Norden an, aber auch die meisten anderen Orte auf der Insel sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Wir können Los Aromos also uneingeschränkt allen empfehlen, die gerne aktiv sind und die Natur lieben.
Los Aromos zählt zweifellos zu den schönsten Quartieren der Insel.
