Description
Two-storey holiday home in Hermigua
In the green valley of Hermigua, bordered by banana plantations and the subtropical garden terraces belonging to the two-storey house, the Casa "Vista Teide" offers individual ambience and a marvelous, calm holiday for 2 - 4 persons.
Enjoy the fantastic view over the whole valley from Hermigua across the sea to the highest mountain of Spain, the Teide on Tenerife. The sunrise and sunset offer a daily spectacular backstage.
The holiday house Casa "Vista Teide" is spread on two floors.
A stairway leads to the entrance area on the ground floor. Here is the fully equipped kitchen-livingroom and the shower with WC and wash basin. Bricked benches, the beautiful terracotta floor and the decorative natural stones in the brick-work radiate a latin atmosphere.
The open staircase takes you to the first floor, where the two cosy bedrooms are. In the yellow room there is a comfortable double bed, 150x200cm. The blue room has two comfortable single beds, 90x200cm, which works likewise as a double bed. Both bedrooms have a wardrobe.
From the upper floor you go on the terrace and into the large garden. Tables, chairs and sun loungers offer long stays to let your soul take a rest.
From the Casa "Vista Teide" leads a stairway through the banana plantations directly down to the village Hermigua, approx. 10 minutes. Hiking trails are in the direct proximity.
We would also be happy to send you a non-binding offer for a cheap rental car on La Gomera.

We enjoyed our trip very much, thank you! As soon as we arrived to San Sebastian, our contact person (Alberto, I think was his name) was ready with the car and he spoke excellent english and everything was just perfect.
The location in Hermigua valley was also just perfect for us. As we arrived we were impressed by the easy-going set thet we could just go in and settle in with a bottle of wine and fruit for us to be welcomed. We admired the dark night and the lovely frogs barking all over the valley. Everything was so pretty, the house, the garden and the view. It was so nice to wake up to roosters calling in our big, spacey bedrooms. We enjoyed several fantastic hikes in the forests and the hills. Plenty of options and even quiet beaches where there was no-one else. We kind of like that feeling of "wilderness". The old paths felt historical and especial. For me it was sometimes hard to walk uphills, but towards the end of the holiday I got stronger. I think the island is a top destination for a naturelover.
Pedro and the people of the town were amazingly kind and friendly. We liked the fact that you and Pedro were always ready to help us. But we did not ned so much help since it is really easy to be on a holiday on La Gomera. We also tooked a quick peak at other towns. Valle Gran Rey was less interesting for us since we avoid the "tourist areas". But then, there are plenty of villages and towns that have more of that "local feeling" so it was great.
